Expertise

Sean Curry is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee and hip conditions, with extensive expertise in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for joint pain, sports injuries and arthritis.

He has a particular interest in innovative injectable therapies, including Arthrosamid, and has one of the largest experiences of its use in the UK for the management of knee osteoarthritis, having been involved from its launch in the UK in September 2021 and subsequently.

Alongside advanced knee and hip replacement surgery, Sean takes an evidence-based, patient-centred approach, aiming to reduce pain, improve function, and help patients maintain an active lifestyle through tailored treatment plans. He is known for his clear communication, joint decision-making and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Research

  • Mr Curry has numerous publications and presented works, both in general orthopaedics and specialist work relating to knee and hip surgery, including an expert interest in the nonoperative management of knee arthritis.
